Select provinces in Canada have an agreement with the federal government that allows them to select immigrants who have the desire to live in that province.
Applicants will need to first apply with the province in which they wish to live and only when accepted may they submit an application for immigration. To apply under this program you must be nominated by the province in which you wish to live.
Foreign nationals must first apply to the province in which they wish to live. Once the province nominates the applicant, the applicant may submit their permanent residence to Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC).
